Leaders In Action - Amanda Pinard

(submitted by Jackie Morris, Supervisor)
I am so thrilled to announce that after a lot of hard work, dedication and perseverance on Amanda’s part, she has fulfilled her goal of becoming an Usborne supervisor.
Amanda has been very enthusiastic right from the moment she started with Usborne. She did almost $2000 in sales in her first two weeks! Always positive and looking for ways to increase and improve her business, she quickly started to build her team and became a team leader after 4 months.
She has a great passion for literacy and shares that passion with not only her team members, but all of her hostesses and everyone she encounters in her business. She has been instrumental in starting training sessions in Northern Alberta and has been able to organize some large trade fairs by sharing the workload and cost with other consultants.
When we discussed her goal to become supervisor, she mapped out exactly what she needed to do to achieve her goal and she put everything she had into it, right down to the very last five minutes! While working her business and mentoring and training her team, she also earned a well-deserved spot on the Executive Council for the Fall 2015 season. All while working another full time job, caring for her family and powering through her current pregnancy.
Amanda, you deserve this, and I am so thrilled to be able to share your Usborne journey with you. I look forward to many more years of working alongside you as you achieve your future goals!
