Another worthy charity receives Usborne Books
30th October 2017
One of the most important influences for success in life is the availability of books in the hands of children from birth on. This autumn, we are making donations across the country to ensure all children have access to Usborne Books.

Over the weekend I was finally able to drop off one of my charity boxes - it went to the Moose Jaw Transition House in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. The lady that accepted them was thrilled, she said "We are always in need of books for the children."
It was such an amazing feeling to be able to give a heaping box full of our beautiful books to them. I truly hope that these books will help make their transition and stay a little more pleasant. I am very thankful to Usborne for this amazing opportunity!
A little about them: The Moose Jaw Transition House has been a respected community agency since 1978, serving the Moose Jaw-South Central Region. We provide services to those experiencing interpersonal violence and abuse. To this end, we offer 5 key programs: Shelter Services, Crisis Line, Community Outreach Program, Children Exposed to Violence Program, and Shelter Support & Follow Up Program.
