More worthy charities receive Usborne Books

21st May 2019

One of the most important influences for success in life is the availability of books in the hands of children from birth on. This spring, we are making donations across the country to ensure all children have access to Usborne Books.

Amanda Muehlen:

When I found out I earned a charity box I was so excited and I knew I wanted to go local. I gave my charity box to the Omineca Safe Home Society in my home town. They were very happy about the donation and I couldn’t be more happy to donate it to them!

Sarah Beairsto:

Another charity box has been delivered!  As a new consultant I earned my very first charity box this February and I couldn’t be more excited! The books went to the NICU at Surrey Memorial Hospital. The NICU tries to give books to all their long stay families to help foster the love of reading and support language development. Plus, reading is such a normalizing activity in such an abnormal environment as the NICU. The staff were very appreciative.
