Leaders In Action - SALES DIRECTOR : Brandy Burge
17th March 2017
This month we have the privilege of acknowledging a very important achievement in our company - Brandy Burge's promotion to Sales Director - a leader who has personally promoted out 6 first line supervisors.
Any of you who attended convention are aware of Brandy's story: how 2 years ago she had a very small struggling team and almost demoted. However, she decided that she was going to start to work in a very focused way on her business and build it big, starting off by setting some lofty goals. She knew that the key to success in this business is promoting out firstline leaders, and focused on that as a goal. Now, 2 years later, Brandy has double the firstline supervisors of any other leader in our entire company!
It's an inspiration for anyone who is struggling and wondering if a renewed focus and effort will make a difference - Brandy is living proof that it works!

I’m delighted to be able to congratulate Brandy Burge on her promotion to Sales Director, which means she now has six ‘first line’ supervisors in her team (as well as others who have promoted out under those supervisors). I don’t want to get too technical here, but it’s necessary in order to explain how very special this is - it means that she has nurtured six people from her central group and helped and inspired them to build their own teams and promote out to supervisor! This is a really significant achievement and to put it in context, it’s the first time since 2003 that someone has promoted to this level – way to go, Brandy!
Brandy has worked incredibly hard to do this, and she has led the way for all of us in terms of pioneering the use of the internet and social media to not only build her team but to then provide training and support to her entire downline. In doing all this she has contributed in great measure to the major increase in sales and recruiting which the company has experienced over the last year or so, and I have high hopes that her example and leadership will mean that it won’t be another 14 years before someone else joins her in promoting to this level!
I was going to say ‘I wish you luck in promoting up the next step to Executive Sales Director in the near future’, but of course luck has nothing to do with it – it’s all about hard work, leadership and determination, and that’s what will ensure her continued success.
