Starting out

The great thing about getting started is that you don’t need a lot of knowledge and experience, and you don’t have to be a sales expert. All you need is a passion for Usborne books and an audience to share that passion with.

On signing up as a Consultant, you will receive a Starter Kit of beautiful books and stationery. Then you are ready to go!

To support you further, the Consultant tools section on this website contains lots of helpful, downloadable training resources. Ask your Sponsor to show you around this section to help you find all of the information you'll need to get started. (The welcome email that you receive when you sign up contains your log-in details).

Do also take some time to read the Consultant Manual, where all the facts about our business are clearly explained.

Where next?

"The Double-Hostess Credits* given to new consultants to offer is a really great incentive to get people to host parties, and a seamless way to help build a new recruit's own Usborne library and maximize their sales goals. I'm thankful for these additional supports that have helped me achieve more as a consultant than I would have ever imagined."

Helen Engel-Gray, Usborne Consultant

* New Consultants can offer Double-Hostess Credits during their first four weeks of business
